My pal Nathan and his wife are selling Handmade Marshmallow Easter Bunnies. From what I hear they’re all natural deliciousness wrapped inside of the palm of your hand. Gonna get a couple of these no doubt!

Handcrafted marshmallow have a smoother texture and a fuller taste than anything you’ve bought from a grocer. All of our marshmallows are made with cane sugar instead of beet sugar or corn syrup, so you’ll always get more fluff and flavor.

The National Mall — iPhone app/album I worked on (icons, app logo and map illustration) was featured on Fast Co. Design a couple of days ago. I worked with the fine fellas Ryan + Hays of Bluebrain. “The National Mall is a smartphone app and album whose tracks mutated based on your location.”

The app/album is actually the first in a series of location-aware musical works that Bluebrain will compose and design for sites around the world in the coming months and years.

My interview in this month’s (Issue 147) Computer Arts Projects: The Trend Spotter’s Guide To Design is out. As always in Computer Arts, there’s heaps of rad inspirations in this issue — also, some of my thoughts on trends and how I approached select works for my Dawn of Man series.

I feel like the past two years have been a vortex of me putting my head down and plowing through heaps of client projects. I’m starting to come out of that so I can focus on personal design endeavors, more creative projects and learning new mediums.

With this new leaf, I’ve finally started actively posting on Dribbble, so you I can show little nuggets of what I’m currently working on. I’m fairly certain I get two invites per month, so hit me up if you’re onto that sort of thing and I’ll do my best to get you in.

Here’s a sample of some icon + symbol explorations I designed for a location-relative music iPhone app.

The app detects your location via GPS and seamlessly loops audio relative to your coordinates. These icons are reflective of the audio looping technology and shapes of the satellite images mapping the initial launch location.
