Error Broadcast

LA’s Error Broadcast is my new fav record label — their artists, music, giveaways, artwork and approach are 100% up my alley. My pal Andy tipped me off to Shlohmo, then I discovered EB and then I fell down their rabbit hole of musical treats.

Here’s a a little insight into a couple of artists on the label.

Shlohmo — 19 year old Henry Laufer is a producer/beatmaker crafting glitchy, melodic, dub-step beats without lyrics, ’cause it’s just that good. Take a listen to his XLR8R Mix.

Pixelord — Moscow’s Alexey Devyanin has a a lo-fi 8bit sound mixed with hip hop. His album artwork by Michael Dotson is perfect and beautiful. Seriously, Mr. Dotson’s paintings are worthy of their own blog post entirely!
